i installed my fass about 3 years ago/over 100,000 miles. i've never changed the fuel filter and i sill have 14psi at idle and never see it lower then 12, is there any reason to change the filter?

thanks

That smells fishy to me. Usually mine needs changing about every 12-14 months.

Have you ever drained the W/S to see if there is any water in it?

yes i have drained, about once a year and not much water in it.

I was told by Diesel_Dan that he had seen guys go over 90k before without issue. I change mine once a year and the last one I cut apart had very little garbage in it... and that was an HF6604, 3 micron filter. I usually average 50k/year and never see a pressure drop... but I drain my separator at almost every fuel stop, and see water quite regularly.
