For while you are parked and able to be plugged in, a battery blanket wraped around the pump and filters may do the trick also. I have a Fass system and have never had my fuel gel in the 18 years that I have been driving diesel trucks and I don't treat the fuel either. I've had a fass pump on previous trucks also. They must not switch to winter grade fuel in your area in winter?? That system would possibly help while traveling. I looked at the link you had and they mention turning the key to the accessory position for about 15 minutes before starting, I would think that could be bad news on a really cold day with a stiff motor and not so perfect batteries, like -30/-40 temps. Do you park in a heated garage? If so, keep the tank near full at all times becasue you will get condensation happening in the tank from the cold to hot changes like a cold drink outside in the summer. We make our guys keep the tank full on our equipment at the shop that gets parked inside every night in the winter for this reason and have not had a problem in 4 years yet with water in the fuel.
