Competition ARB in a DANA 80 ?

Off Roading KORE Race Suspension on 2005

Thought I would show a few photos of what we are working on the for next year.

First, I do think that on our car, with a 3 gallon fuel cell, external regulators and a lot of return plumbing, we are getting some aeration in the fuel. We may be able to build some more power if we can get good fuel to the P pump.

Brad at FASS has been real helpful, and after getting the product, looking it over and changing a couple small things around, I think it will do real well for us. We are going to flow test it compared to our current system, and so far it looks like it will flow better and hopefully, take all of the air out.

I took a Diesel bath today, ripping off all the factory crap fuel system, preparing for the FASS install. (You don't have to take it all off, I chose to. )

I should have took pictures, of all the extra wires, fuel lines, sprayer pumps, etc on the frame!! 4 years of getting by, with what Tractor Supply was selling, lol.

Scott, what kind of fuel pressure are you trying to maintain? I like to hold a good bit of pressure while getting lots of fuel in and out of the pump, might just jump to a bigger pump this year and run 2 inlets to the pump.

Jim

The amount of pressure that we are trying to hold is 40+. My whole issue is just trying to maintain a steady pressure, and without air entrained in the fuel.

We have had many issues this year, and found a few secrets to getting the fuel pressure up and steady, while still allowing fuel circulation in the P pump for cooling the plungers. We did open up the P pump for two number 8 feeds to reduce the chance of restriction. We are completely replumbing again right now to get the FASS to catch all of the air, and get it back to the tank.

Here is the plumbing on the car right before the 7. 98 pass...
