2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission fass II pump sounds like hell like a the bearings are going

it's not a smooth sound it's rough sounding

is the pump going bad

I have one of the first versions, so I don't know what has changed, but mine is mounted right to the bed with a bracker and no rubber damper. Basically, I get resonance with the rigid mount, kind of like a bad bearing.



Mine's been doing it since new and it has 60K on the FASS II now.



did this just start or has it always done this?
