2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Fass Ii Pump Vibrateing And Making Noise

MY FASS II PUMP VIBRATES AND MAKES NOISE SO LOUD IT COVER UP THE SOUND FROM THE ENGINE

AND THE TRUCK HAS STRAIGHT PIPE ON IT

IF I TAKE THE BRACKET OFF AND CUSHEN IT WITH SOME TYPE OF TAPE

WILL THIS STOP THE VIBRATION AND NOISE

OR IS IT SOMETHING OTHER THAN THAT IT HAS 14 TO 15-1/2 PSI AT IDLE

AND 13 WIDE OPEN I DON'T GET IT

IS IT THE FUEL I DON'T KNOW

Almost sounds like it might be cavitating... but you seem to be holding good pressure...



I know I have read a lot of threads about guys bolting noise deadening material between the bracket and frame... I also remember one using multiple wraps of black electrical tape...



I always thought about a piece of rubber mudflap...

Brad has a new intermediate plate that mostly fixes this problem. I have a few that he has sent me. They are in short supply but I am sure he will be getting more. Thanks, Brady
