FASS Install Pictures

Does anyone have any good install pictures of the FASS pump and filters on a 3rd Gen LB??? The photos are not very good for locating the pump in the instructions sent with the product. The instructions say to mount it to the front box mount but I'd love to see more pictures from all angles. Also, there is a 90 degree fitting included in the kit but for the life of me I can't find any references to it in the instructions. One photo shows it installed on the "T" side of the pump but it also appears the truck is a SB. Any help from you LB FASS users will be very appreciated!!! Merry Christmas to you all!!

The main angle mount bolts to the frame support for the bed... not the bed itself.



If you look in front of the spring hanger, you will see another bracket that the bed's cross member rests on (and is bolted to?)... you want to drill into the frame portion of that bracket.



Put the bracket onto the FASS, and mount it loosely... tighten everything once installed. I found mine touched the filler tube/hose of the tank.

It' a tricky install. It's designed more like a one size fits all unit. I had to cut my bracket up a little so I could position it without hitting things.

Thanks SteveD and Yo Hoot. That's one of those things about these posts. You can make yourself seem like a total idiot when you post a question! I have read the instructions cover to cover and for the most part understand each step. What I am looking for is pictures from other members with Long Boxes to see how they arranged things, mounted, moved, etc to help make my installation as trouble-free as possible. Yo-Hoot: Thanks for the pics. I see yours is a short box. The instructions talk about the rear cab moount on the short box and the front bed mount on the long box. Did you use the bed mount on your short box?
