Has anyone ever had a Fass motor/pump only assembly weep fuel? Mine is always dirty like fuel has leaked and it attracted dirt but it is never dripping or has a drip. I have dried it off with beake cleaner several times and every time I look every couple of weeks it has a covering of oily dirt again. It is not in 1 area the whole unit is covered.

Check all your line connections to the pump. When I put my reloction kit on I had some connections that I thought were tight but it leaked ever so slightly. Good luck

Electrostatic charge drawing dirt to it maybe? Because it runs hot, possibly road spray sticks to it preferentially??

I guess I don't follow... by the sounds of it, my entire truck looks like your pump from the way you describe it... including my FASS...

Does nothing else have this coating on it?

I would expect that if you were leaking fuel, you should be able to see a starting point (wet) and it (and the dirt) feather out from there?

That's wierd...
