FASS mounting question/ Stock filter question

First of all I love my new FASS 150/95 system, pressure is 14. 5/15 at idle and drops to 12. 5/13 WOT pump is quieter than stock, every thing is great expect for where it attaches to the bed support. Is 2 bolts enough to hold that unit on that long mounting arm into the bed support? Has anyone ever had any issues with it where it connects to their truck or am i just being paranoid? The FASS bracket is beefy and the bed support bracket is not quite so heavy looking. I also plumbed my FASS into my stock filter and then used a big line kit to the VP44. Should I leave in the stock filter and a double filter or pull it out? I did this to keep the heater and the water indicator.

why the heater/water concerns in So Cal?:-laf anyways as long as the fuel guage is plumbed right at the 44 those #s sound fine. I've never heard of a bracket failure yet. If it was mounted on the hitch ,well...

Moving to Delaware as soon as my house sells, or I would have gone directly to the VP44. I don't know for sure what it is for adn if I need it but last time I was in delaware there was snow on the ground so I thought I better go to the heater in case it is needed.

Fuel heat shouldn't be an issue even in DE if you run a good additive. Our system will move it if the filters dont clog up (See additive comment! haha!) :-laf



One issue i hardly ever see (can count on 2 finger) is the bracket. AND it was defects in our bracket... so i have never seen a failure of the bed support. You should be good.

Thanks Dan, You know how those dullys bounce around. You know I was kind of skeptical on some of the promises that FASS makes about its product. Everyone from air filters to exhaust manufactures say they make more power better egt's ect. But I really see better results with my FASS... still loving the pressure and good fuel with no air in it!

My Fass has been on about 3-1/2 years no problems so far.



I took off stock fuel canister to clean up engine compartment no problems. Oo.

I run an AirDog and took off my stock filter also. A good additive is all thats needed unless you live in Alaska.
