FASS on a 2004.5 3500 SWB?

I ordered and received a FASS system. Evidently the FASS unit does not mount to the frame as indicated on the short wheel base truck.



Any mounting locations that members have found would be greatly appreciated.

A local member had the same problems with a 2nd gen short box. I'll try to find out what he did.

On my install I welded it to the rear cab support mount .

I made a bracket to mount to the rib on the underside of the bed and bolted that to the bracket that came with it.

I had a problem with my camper tie downs being in the way I made some mods which extended the bracket out and also reinforced it for being so far away from the frame rail. It actually sits outboard of the front spring mount.
