3K on my FASS system, and no problems... 'till today... . Drove home, put it into reverse to back up, and the truck died... . just like you shut off the key... instantly I suspected no fuel... My Westach FP gauge took a dump again, so I had no way to check the pressure... Pulled the FASS blue fuel line from the IP, and watched the open end while I hit the key... FASS was running but no fuel from the hose... pulled the fuel filter off the FASS assy, and noticed the filter cannister was half full, or half empty. . whatever... I filled the filter with fuel, and still nothing came out of the fuel line... . now I'm suspecting the pump is bad, or my pickup is plugged... . BTW. . the truck has about 1/4 tank of fuel, and on level ground... in looking at the FASS trouble shooting manual, it says to try the 5 gal bucket test ... have any of you had these samr symptoms ?? Shoild I try the 5 gal test first, before I drop the tank ??

Man this is long winded... sorry 'bout that... .

Wow... no takers... I guess I'm the first one to have this problem... So what I did today was pull the hose leading fro the pump to the tank and put it in a 5 gal can of diesel, and hit the key... the pump runs but still no fuel to the end of the line... could I have a plugged filter in 3 K miles... ? Do I have to drain the water separator that often... I dunno... any body ?
