Last summer I got tired of replacing lift pumps, so I installed a FASS system. I did not connect my pressure gauges to the new system. Now, not knowing the fuel pressure is driving me nuts.

When I installed the FASS, I noticed ports for sending units, but they seem to be plugged. Do I have to drill out the bottom? if so ... how deep can I let the drill bit go without damaging the insides?

your sig says fuel pressure X2?

what fass do you have? the DDRP or a 95/150?

if its a 95/150 there is a blocked off port on the pump ouput fitting. it has a resesed allen head. just remove it and replace it with your sender.

I installed my fuel pressure gauge right to the inlet of the VP44. You could also install at inlet to fuel filter that way you would have reading for pressure across filter.

Click on this link https://www.turbodieselregister.com/user_gallery/displaygallery.php?userid=6279, you can see what I did to get pre/post readings for fuel pressure. I came right off the top of the fuel filter cannister.

I believe I have the 150/95. I'll check when I get home. Thanks

I had pre-filter and post filter pressure gages, with the FASS, I have bypassed the stock filter assy.

thats how mine is. Its "T"d off of the fuel line aput 6 inches before the inlet to the VP. I eliminated the stock filter and run straight from the FASS to the VP.

I was also tired of replacing lift pumps and went with the FASS, I went straight from the FASS to the stock fuel filter allready there and put my sending unit on the outlet side of the stock filter and have had no problems and am running 16. 5 psi.
