i just got my new replacement fass 150 pump and after installing it i dont have any fuel at all

i unhooked the line going into the injection pump and then bumped the starter and i dont get anything coming out of the line at all

the pump is making noise

the fuel filter is full

the water separator is full and if you open the bottom it will syphon fuel out of the tank

i cant get it to pump up at all ... . i cant get it to move any fuel ... . i took the line out of the injection pump put it in a bucket and bumped the starter ... . did not even get a drop out of the line from the fass

Did you try loosening the filter while the pump was running?

When I first instaled my 150 it would not pump until I loosened up the filter to get the air out. I almost got a fuel bath when it kicked in.

i pulled the t block back off just to make sure i have got the ball in the right spot it is in place ... . and the o rings are good to go also

since i have got the pump/t bracket off i will try and run it now to see if i have got pressure

i put the t bracket and pump back on, left the fuel filter off and bumped the starter, after about 10-15 sec i started to get fuel coming out of the bottom of the fass ..... put the fuel filter back on bumped the starter and got an instant 13. 5 psi to my gauge ... cranked her over and she started right up and is sitting in the driveway idling right now, i dont know what i did different this time vs the last time ..... but on the same hand i dont really care b/c its running

thanks a bunch dan

Good deal glad you go it going.

Like I said with mine it did pump but very little until I loosened the filter and bled the air out and then fuel everywhere.
