I recently installed the fass 95 system on my truck i've noticed I always have to wait for the "wait to start light" to come on before the pump primes and can start the truck. This does not seem normal as i'm in 80F temps in Miami. It was installed hooked to the factory lift pump harness as per instructions , any suggestions ? thanks.

that is my normal. Pump must do the 1 sec run or it just cranks. I look at it as computer check time and I put on my seat belt time. When my fuel press gauge works correctly, I can see the needle jump. Normally I just watch for the light to go out, then 1/2 crank and she is purring.

Mine takes longer than a second , when you turn the key all the idiot lights come on go off then the wait to start light comes on then it will start , thats about 7-8 seconds . I live in Miami I might have to get out of an area quicker than that :D

Interesting. I have one on my truck and it does not make a bit of difference what the temperature is. I get in and start it right up and never wait for the grid heaters or fuel pressure. It does not make a difference if it is 70 deg or 28 degrees.

Perhaps, check your battery condition and all of your connections from the batteries to the pump including grounds. I have replaced my original batteries with Diehard Platinums and when I twist the key we are on our way. After I get oil pressure of course
