we are replacing our 95gph fass pump that the brushes ended up in the tank and gave us alot of problems for a new 150gph with filtration and water separator. so far its been fun. DAN consider this for the next set of customers: 90 degree adapters so filter and separator can be tucked up higher and pump is more compact. the pumps would be so much easier to install if the dern assembly werent so tall. 90 degree adapters would shorten the pump assembly and people wouldnt have to hack included brackets crossmembers to the beds of the trucks and everything else we seen while looking for a better way/a way to get the pump in there. also pics of the 03-04 short bed are not the same as our 04. 5 short bed leaf spring bracket is slightly different.

I am hoping others will chime in with thier install experiences. and comment on the idea of 90 degree adapter and maybe Dan might look into the idea. if you were open tommorow i would call you. but i will prolly be in touch next week sometime.

I have told them that for the last 2 years that they need to use a 90 and the still have not so that is why I dont use them (FASS) anymore,I got tired of going to the parts store to buy them. .

well we found a solution. pretty nice after spending so many hours of holding up that 30 pound pump and scratching the crap out of it. after it fell once and dented the fender from inside outward. we looked everywhere in the rear of the truck. we found that if we use our left over hose from the GDP vent line kit and cut the factory steel vent tube from the factory steel filler tube we could then move add on to it using the steel peice we cut and the left over vent line rubber from GDP. (THANKS RICHARD!!!) then we bolted the one bracket to the pump and bolted the other bracket to it and welded that bracket. the PITA of it all was time spent figuring out a solution. GLAD I OWN A WELDER. Dan you really need to refine this kit

hey dan wodered if you could help me with my new fass pump. Put it on saturday and it ran less than five minutes. Quit running and it felt very warm to hot. Checked juice at pump and still will not run. Truck runs if not pushed very hard. Any info would help... . Thanks
