I got my Fass pump only installed tonight and I noticed after my 10 min test run that the motor on the pump was almost uncomfortably hot to touch. My brother said new motors run hotter until the brushes wear in, is that true?

The kit is well set-up and laid out for install. It took us just under 2 hours to complete and I'm sure the 2nd-time-round would be closer to one hour.

I ran into 2 small problems, first I had to remove one of my running boards because it mounted on the same place as the FASS does!!! Second, the inlet fitting on the fuel filter that you have to change is also the port I took my FP from. The kit has you change that fitting and with the new one I don't have the port for my FP sending unit... . I guess I'm gonna have to buy the bullet filter cap form Geno's garage to fx this problem.
