Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) FASS pump installed WOW

I just installed my FASS 150/95 and I am impressed. I do not know why but it made a drastic change on my MPG. I average 24 doing 80 on the higway. That is after a 400 mile round trip to the ranch.



Only concerns I have are;



What do you do with all the stock plumbing and fuel filter, Is there an easy way to get rid of it?



Next I am concerned about it sticking down like it does. Has anyone designed a plate or bracket to protect it while offroading?

The stock filter housing should just unbolt. I left my line in as it is clipped in behind the fuel tank.

you can remove the lines and the filter, as for the lines up behind the tank, you can get to those when you upgrade to a draw straw and have to drop the tank.
