I just thought I would let everyone know that I have installed a FASS Pusher and it is working just fine. The design of the install for short bed could use some minor changes. I will be getting with DPP once I get some pics to hopefully send them. I hope to get this done this week and get with them after that. Other than the minor issues that I didn't like the pump is doing fine. :)

Cool  is that the new one ? I have been thinking of doing something about this fuel pressure mess. I thinking Fass/Airdog or Rasp . I like the idea just adding a pusher pump i think it rediculous that we have to upgrade are fuel systems even with no mods

Yes that was the pusher pump the kit was complete and it runs good pressure 15+ and with the stock truck I have not been able to pull the pressure down past 16. I feel there could be some improvements made to the installation that would make this a even better product, as mentioned I will be trying to get a hold of DPP and visiting with them on it. It took a little longer to install than I had planned... might have been due to it being St. Pats Day and the green beeers. Started at 4pm took a dinner break around 7:30 and finished up by 11:30 pm.

Had to find tools remove pump and re-install pump find tools , find more tools, find beer, find tools ,find beer. find oil for hose. Bleed the air out , fired her up and check for leaks. If you have a lift to work on it would go alot faster. Getting to the fuel tank is a bit of fun in its self. Good luck if you go this route and if you do feel free to contact me before you do the install and I will be more than willing to visit with you on the phone about my install. I did run into one small problem when I went to purchase the system I wanted the 150 pump but was told that they were unavaible. So I had to settle for the 95 pump... ... . hopefully when I visit with DPP they will let me know something about getting a 150 if I still want it.

I had a problem with the pump outlet line hitting the cab sheetmetal. I put a 90* elbow on from home depot for $. 98 and that solved it for me.

do you have a similar issue?

Thanks,

Jason

I had the same issue with the back of the cab ,it would be nice to have the 90 in the kit. What fitting did you use from HomeDepot if you have some number could I get them from you. My truck is a daily driver and down time on fixing crazy problem is at a preimum for me. It would be easy to take that info and buy the fitting then get to the house and fix the problem. My pump is also very noisy anybody else's? I like the system over all but there is always room for improvement. I don't much care for the location of the fuse  , I don't know who came up with the idea of putting where it is but I just don't see it making it through a bunch of rain. It is going to be relocated to the engine compartment ASAP.

Jeff,

The fitting is just a 1/2" pipe thread 90* street elbow from home depot. $. 98 plus tax. That fixed my problem.

Mine is pretty noisy. not too bad, but I can hear it for sure. I have a goofy drone now but I'm not sure if it is the pump or my exhaust. Just never noticed it before, but who knows.

Thanks,

Jason

Move the fuse. Mine blew due to corrosion. Also noted in an earlier post that wiring harness was 18 gauge and is marginal at best. I upgraded to 14 gauge. Search on my name to find details on this. Noisey Fass is due to tank restriction. OEM fuel pickup is way too restrictive to be healthy. See my readers rigs for pics of wnat I did. Others have made similar improvements and noticed a considerable reduction in noise. My Fass was loud but is now ultra quiet. Good luck
