Today I noticed my Lift or Pusher pump is going out once again. Pressure is going crazy, 21-5 PSI holding at 10 then 15. I have PowerByPools big line kit so my Question is does the FASS change all fuel lines or can I still use some of what I have?

I just can't see buying another Carter LP and PP, but I need to do something. What would you do? Spend the money now or over and over later?

I would stay away from FASS! But if you do decide to go with FASS I would recommend you send in your registration card by certified mail. If FASS can not find your card they will turn down any warranty claims. That is what happen to me, even though I sent them the original invoice.

Any other alternatives?

Is there any other alternative fuel pumps we can use that I can just put in line using my big line kit?

I talked to Olee Poole last night, well 6 hours ago. If I don't hear anything else I'll get him to just get me the pump/filter without the plumbing.

Has anyone done this? Will it still remove the air in fuel?

Another alternative might be to get one of the "70 Dollar lift pumps" for now, and that will buy you some time to do the research on higher end setups and decide which way you REALLY want to go, instead of making a hurried decision.

The Fass is probably an ok way to go, but there are a couple mechanical pumps available also, and one of them is starting to sound reasonable in price.

Another thing I have considered is mounting 2 carter type pusher pumps back at the tank with quick interchangable fittings and wring plug so if one fails, you just need to swap a couple of fittings and power plug. Your back on the road in 10 mins or less.

Or, you could get a mechanical type with possibly your 70 dollar pump as the one that gets your motor started until the mechanical one gets pumping. .

Thanks Dan and Shortshift.

I called Olee and he is getting the full FASS system for me. I have three people around here that want my big line kit even after I told them what happened to mine. Good luck to them.

Later TDR. Back to the brake job once again.

Then YOU stay away from it. Without an explanation a blanket statement like that is irresponsible. I have had trouble free service from mine and would recommend it to anyone at any performance level including stock.

i love my fass... wish it was the first thing i wouldda done to my truck... not only do i not have to worry (so much) about my VP, i noticed an HP increase as well
