i've been having issues with fuel pressure when i start my truck. Sometimes i got it and sometimes it takes a soft tap of a hammer on the FASS motor to get it. Once i have pressure it stays above 11 lbs while i drive my truck. I bought new brushes for the motor and i am looking for some help in getting them installed - i want to do it myself.

Am i going to have to remove the entire unit from the truck to do the job? I looked it over and i know where the little black caps are that need unscrewed out. The one is easy to get to the other is on the back side out of sight. Can i unbolt the FASS motor from the unit and then reassemble it? It looks like 4 bolts hold it on. Or am i going about doing this all wrong

I have never done this as I have not had any problems with my FASS (yet) but I have been told that you should beable to get that "back" cap and brush out with out removing the motor or pump from ur truck. It was with either a right angle or a stubby screw driver. Like I said though I have not had to do it and other than changing the filter have not had to mess around with my FASS since install 2. 5 years ago.

Hopefully someone else will chime in with info for you.

Hope this help
