I just purchased the Fass HPFP 150-1003 Big Line Upgrade from Vulcan. They sent me everything I need for the 1/2 big line upgrade and draw straw and also the 3/8 line kit. They made a mistake and sent 3/8 stuff in first shipment and later sent the 1/2 big line stuff. My question is, can I install all of the 1/2 tubing and connections all the way to the VP, but still use the 3/8 connection from the fuel tank to the Fass pump so i dont have to drop the tank and install the draw straw at this time? If not, i think I will use the 3/8 tubing and if I ever decide to upgrade for more power, use the 1/2. Also, if i use the 3/8, can i use the 1/2 between the filter and VP? Thanks for the help.

well I dont know if this will help you. I have the 1/2 draw straw to 3/8 line I will eventually up to 1/2 line... I think if you run the stock pick/up to 3/8 line or 1/2 line you will be safe its when you start adding alot of extra fuel you dont want your pick up to starve or cavitate. . I did the draw straw due to having to drop the tank because I had alot of gunk sand etc. in my tank. so I cleaned my tank out. it wasnt to hard to do just could use... a set of extra hands. . little amount of fuel in tank... jack with a block of wood... and couple of straps to assist. careful of the connections some can be dry and brittle. . when you do the connections and fittings my 2 cents no matter how many times I have done it I always had a better result using liquid goop/teflon on the connections let is dry than put the connections together and get some extra rubber pieces or a bicycle tube and cut sections to zip tie on the fuel line to protect it on the spots that may rub on frame or body sections. . sorry for the long response...
