I've been searching and reading for a good hour, but haven't found the answers to my questions. Any help would be appreciated.

My truck seems like it runs out of fuel at high rpm, even with the quad on 60.

I want to install a 95gph FASS with the 3 micron filter. My questions:

1. Is it loud? Like louder than a Chevy gasser fuel pump? You can hear those from 30+ feet away.

2. Can I leave the stock filter with the water in fuel light? Isn't there also a fuel heater for the winter time in there?

3. If I have to ditch the stock setup, are there any drawbacks?

Thanks in advance.

1) not as loud as the chevy but you can hear it outside of the cab within a few feet of mounting location.

2) Yes and Yes

3) No you can bypass it but why? Just replace the stock filter element when you change FASS element. With your setup you'll still have all the fuel the IP can handle.

These answers are for the pump only Fass - FYI

1) Loud, a bit, about a 10 footer I bet, further than that its hard to notice _ although mine is not mounted correctly, so thats why it is a bit louder than some others (sounds almost like my holley on my 71 pro-street challenger)

2) yes you can, just run the ouput into the bak of the stock filter housing - And yes that is where the heater is

3) I have no idea, I don't think so, But I would contact DPP direct

Thanks for the answers. I guess I wasn't clear about #3. I do not want to lose the stock setup, but someone told me I had to.

My impression was that I could run the output of the FASS to the inlet on the stock filter housing.

Also, does anyone have any pics I can see of the full system on a short bed 4x4?

I think I'm ordering one in the next couple weeks.
