I have recently bought a 02 2500 with a fass. I went to change out the filters this morning. The fuel filter is a wix/napa part # 1724 which I beleive is right, but after I read a thread from SteveD I am not sure. When I went to drain the water off of the seperator it looked to have a dent in the bottom from a rock or something. When I tightened it back up the whole bottom twisted off. #@$%! On Labor day nonetheless. So back to Napa and bought part # 3691. My question is I guess are these filters the right ones and will the 3691 work until I can get the right seperator from fleetguard which is part # fs1023 I think.

I appreciate you comments in advance. Please help out this 'ol 12 valve dinosaur in this new electronic world of 2002!! Happy Labor Day.

One more thing I am guessing I have the fass 150. How do you tell?

Thnx Dan from a former Missouri boy to a current one. I saw you at Scheids and meant to get some filters for the new ride. Beer must have gotten in the way or something! It is the 150, and I kind of figured that the wix was a "quick fix" thing. Thanks again for the answer.
