Pacbrake Lube?

I am looking to put together an -8AN sytem for myself to go along with the FASS, keep the stock filter/heater, and relocate the fuel gauge fitting to post-filter. Well, I've figured out all the parts for after the filter to the VP44 (at least I'm pretty sure I have - can anyone verify the size of the inlet on the VP44? 12mm?), and the fuel pressure gauge fitting, but I don't know what fitting, barbed or otherwise, would fit up to the rubber hose that was supplied with the FASS system, and still mate up, possibly with a 90 degree bend, to a 12mm/-8an adapter mounted in the inlet side of the fuel filter housing. If I remember correctly, it's 3/8 I. D, but I'm not sure. Would a -6 or -8 hose fitting work on that? Or is barbed the only way to go? If it is, anyone know of a source for a 3/8 I. D. (if I'm correct in guessing the size of the rubber FASS line) barbed, to -8 or -6 hose adapter?

I'm sure someone's done this before, and knows the parts...

Thanks,

Skyler

I purchased the 12 mm x 1. 5 mm thread pitch x -08 A/N fittings from Wildcat Diesel. I purchased a complete set of 5 although, they can be purchased individually.

I did however BOMB the aforementioned fittings...

I reamed out the holes to . 300" (I. D. ).

I only used one of the fittings (at the VP44), as I elected to eliminate the OE fuel filter assembly. I used -08 Aeroquip AQP hose and fittings however, you could purchase an Aeroquip Push-Loc -08 A/N fitting to mate up to the 1/2" I. D. "rubber" hose.
