Where and how do u change out the pressure spring for the FASS unit? Do i remove the line from the tank to FASS? or do i remove the line from the FASS to VP? Or is it something different?

I have 10 psi - always have since the unit was new 2. 5 years ago. I had to replace the motor with the "new" motor due to failure (wasn't too bad other than making my clothes stink and taking 2 hours of my weekend). I have been told to try and keep 15 psi. I can suck it down to 5 psi when i lay into it good.

IIRC the spring is in the return line to the filler neck.

Correct... you remove the tank return-line fitting on the FASS and there is a spring and popit ball under it... make sure you don't lose the ball.

You don't need any sealant as both the line fitting and the FASS's fitting are self sealing...

Should take less than 2 minutes to pull/replace the spring... and you will lose a little bit of fuel from the line.
