fass system

i have a 2005 ctd and i would like to install this system. there are some here who have done it while leaving the factory pump still installed and working in the system. others have suggested that the in tank pump must come out because it cannot supply the fass with enough volume,causing the fass to burn up. does anybody make a replacement tank cap that just has the same setup as the 2004 and under models?that would be the way to go it seems. replace tank cap,install fass,and youre ready to go. does anyone have some info on this?
