Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Fass Titanium is Dying

Went outside to do my 4 year charge of my AC system in the 2001 Dodge Ram Diesel. Realized while sitting in my drive that the Fass was not pumping. Went thru fuses all ok. Pulled the connector at the pump itself 12.3 vdc. Cleaned connection and installed plug, whacked the motor with a hammer and it started running.

I am not sure it this was the first time it did not pump, or if I drove to work and home yesterday without it.

Should I replace the motor or the complete pump? Not sure which output the pump has, will pull the this Sunday and check it out.

Hopefully if I buy the same size pump, it will be a direct replacement. <--- True or False?

on my fass 150 the motor-pump is a replaceable assembly got mine from summit racing

I would call FASS, (866) 769-3747.

I second this as FASS changed their Design a couple times throughout the years.

If you know what you need - use Summit.
