Were do I get power to feed the fass pump, my truck has the crappy in tank conversion from DC ? Also do I have to pull the tank, I don't mind doing it if it results in an easier and better job? One more thing can I keep the stock fuel filter housing were it is and run fuel thru it without a filter since the fass has two filters? Thanks, Gregg

you git the power from the stock lift pump circutto fire off the relay for the fass pump. if you have the intank lift pump then yes you do need to drop the tank down and install a new pick-up tube because the fass wont be able to suck through the intank pump. you also could run the fass through stock filter housing but it kind of defeats the purpose of running the bigger fuel line supplied in the kit because the stock filter housing is a major restriction. the fuel heater is a pretty substatial restriction in the system

Gregg the FASS should come with a wiring harness to plug in to the original harness at the stock location and extend it back to the location of the new pump location. When they converted your LP to the intank pump they probably used one as well to get to there pump in the tank. As far as pulling the tank ???? I have heard of people lifting the bed a little bit to get to it. Loosen all bolts and remove drivers side bolts and jack bed up on a angel to get to top of tank. Yes you can keep the stock FF in place with or with out a filter in it. I kept mine in place and left the filter in as well (triple protection) in you count the air separator :-laf By leaving it in place you get to keep the OEM FF heater so when it gets cold out you have heated fuel.
