Were can I get a fast cooler with lexan covers for good price?

Its for A 02/ 6 speed / 4x4.

Is it worth adding on?

The price of the 6 speed version...

in the new TDR..... is not bad, right from the "factory".



I have not heard of lower prices elsewhere, FWIW.



If you are going to do any towing, it is definetely worth it, IMO.

D. , you can order them from Verlyn directly, from Piers, and likely other vendors as well. I have had mine (2 of them) on my 6 speed for at least 8 months now, and back in April I put a temp gauge in both the FastCooler and my rear differential. While I am going down the road, my transmission is consistently 10 - 15* cooler than my rear diff. Of course when I sit in traffic, the transmission heats up and the diff cools a bit, so they come back to being the same temperature.



So, in my experience, I believe they make a decent difference.



I highly recommend the product.



Oh, the newer ones, like mine, if you buy two and tell Verlyn they are for your transmission (they also fit the 4x4 transfer case, if you have one of those too), he'll send you one that is drilled and tapped for a 1/4" NPT temperature probe
