Are any of you starting to lift the front tires? Or is there to much turbo lag for that? Engine to heavy... etc.

Just wondering... .

Until someone moves the engine back a foot or better I seriously dought you will see the front tires lift. There is just too much wieght out there in front. I would love to see it though :--)

That's the one! Right tire comes off the ground a little too :--) Somebody ought to post this over at the ford site..... someone who wont mind being banned

Bah, you guys are no fun... the shading is somewhat convincing but besides lack of smoke me thinks the wheel would be hanging down without a load on it. Looks like it was parked on a good sized mound with the body twist but you can tell the left front wheel is still loaded.

Uh... . Doesn't the torque always lift the right side higher?

right rear drive wheel (without posi or lsd) would lift the front left wheel.

Scott, most drag cars squat the right rear and raise the left front unless they are really set up good and or have a tube frame.

Banshee, I have a drag car that raises the front about 6" LF and 4" RF running 11. 4's but then it is a heavy car.

This is a little off the subject. . but Anyone thought of putting a short bed on??? (Reg cab) Shorter frame. . less weight... while 4 linking the rearend?? Just thinking out loud. . thought the weight might transfer a little better???

My 71 Buick use to lift the left front around 6 to 8 inches until I reworked the rear suspension. An airbag in the right rear coil spring also helped a bunch with keeping it on the ground. And dropped my 60 foot times into the 1. 5 zone.
