fast idle

I had the update so I can use my cruise to idle fast. . works great except

now if I dont turn it on it dyes after a wile had any one else had this

your saying the truck will die? or it falls of of fast idle after a while?



My 06 basicly I set the Parking brake "6sp truck" and turn on cruse presss the set, now I can very RPM with the accell and decell buttons, as far as I can tel it will idle like this until she runs out of fuel. If the truck dies at basic idle now, I almost wonder if there is an option the ECM to kill the truck after X amount of min because of excess idleing, I worked for a trucking company and there did that. Time it and see if its after so many min of idle with no movment of truck or pedles.

that might be it ... cause ,yes on fast idle it might go all day

but the other day I did not speed it up ,I unhooked a 5th wheel

and before I was done it dyed and right before it dyes it sound like the timing changes it gets louder

do you have a fuel pressure gauge to make sure the pump is running when this happens?
