Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Fast ratio conversion steering box

Hay ya'll,

I've got a 97, 2500, 12v, auto and the steering sucks. I'm tired of cranking that 24:1 ratio and chasing the steering down the hiway.

I'm hearing about these fast ratio steering boxes that Power Steering Services has. I like the idea of the 12:1 steering box which would make for some nice tight steering withought having to crank on the steering wheel.

I would like to hear some thoughts on this conversion.

Your kinda posting in the wrong section. I just went through what your going through. Here is my thread. I could not be more pleased with my new steering box. And its really not a conversion. it takes about 45minutes to change out the steering box and it purely bolt-on, fill up and GO... ... no more wander.
