Air lines in a shop, what would you use?

I dont wrench for a living, however I have had to use many different kinds and brands of hand tools as a maintainence pipefitter/weldor. One of the most interesting sets of wrenches I have seen is not the make or size but the materials used. We were required to use Stainless Steel wrenches on Stainless Steel Flanges/Bolts and Sparkless Wrenches on "special application" process piping. The Stainless Steel wrenches and Silica Bronze wrenches were supplied by Craftsman! GregH

Simple go on ebay buy lots

my choicees:

wrenches:snap on/Mac or craftsman professional

ratchets Snap on/Napa(dont know who makes it )

sockets craftsman works well it the correct one is used

screwdrivers get a snap on vote by far

pliers/cutters most i own are klien/channel lock they work good

speciality tools i vote KD

I have craftsman and never had one break on me also snap-on some mac some kobalt. All mac tools are made by stanley if you can believe that they also make husky at homo depot. kobalt tools are made by the danaher tool group which is matco tools and craftsman tools are made by snap-on tools :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

don't buy any chinese or taiwan tools pos you talk about breaking those are the fing tools that will break... ... ... ... ... ... .....

Boy, this was a fun read. Used to work at a bicycle shop that had SK, loved those. Usually buy Craftsman, price talks, altho their ratchets have let me down more than once or twice. Despise anything Chinese, I swear they must melt down old rickshaws for some of the metal. Bent a made in India wrench once without trying, cured me of those, too. Klein is real good, Rigid US made for bolt cutters, hard to find now.
