gauges seem to be a must for any bombing. I want to know what gauge is most perfered by ALL for function on top then readability and day/night looks. Not much diffrence in price.

My Autometer 'Z' series gauges with black face and red needles with the green bulb covers match my 2001 instrument cluster very well. I haven't had them in very long, but they are working well. They were a fairly easy install and were recommended by and purchased from Rip at www.sourceautomotive.biz

isspro ev

i think that the isspro ev series black faced gauges match the factory dash the best, but everyones opinion seems to differ quite a bit on the subject of gauges.

I've had good luck with all types of Autometer gauges, prices are reasonable across the board, and I've never had any functionality problems with them either.

Well. . they are not cheap but I really like my SPA dual gauges.

My EGT/Boost gauge also functions as a cool down timer with its programmable external output.

· Selectable backlight color (red or green)

· Adjustable backlight brightness

· Black or white dials

· Standard Black or Chrome option bezels

· High resolution modes for 0. 1 PSI, Deg C etc

· Programmable button function, recall menu etc

· Splash proof sensor connections

· Extended temperature operation (for extreme climates) -20 to +70 Deg C

· Stainless steel pressure and vacuum sensors

· Programmable warning lights, low battery, averaging etc

· Programmable outputs for driving external LED's or relays

· Thermocouple options and kits available

You can find more on those here

They just added one that will do rail pressure & oil pressure.

I have DiPricol's in my truck and I like them for the most part, the EGT is funky @ night but it is tolerable. the colors match the factory gauge colors @ night

I went with DiPricol becouse the $ but if I was to do it again and had about an extra 150 I'ld go with westach , My impression while checking them all out was they were a little better gauges and what I realy liked was that I could put them all in fewer holes becouse they offer double gauges, the only one you have to make happy is YOU.

John, I have been running the westach combo gauge for 5 years with zero problems. I love the boost and egt in a single guage but some hate it.

It is so nice to read one gauge for egts and boost.

westach's are not that fancy, but all 4 that I run have been flawless, great quality.

I like my SPA's. They are easy to read, have highest or lowest reading memory. Programable limits with a red light alert so you dont have to watch it like a hawk. Plus I have 6 gauges in 3 :)

I also have the Westach white face combo gauges egt/boost and rear diff/transmission temp. It's nice to have 2 gauges with 4 functions. With these you can get many different color bulb covers to match any dash.

I have the Isspro EV on my A pillar. They look great, match the stock cluster and are easy to read day or night.

i like my autometer ultralites, but them new isspro white faced gauges are nice too [

what he said. my isspros are pretty easy at night and havent given me any trouble at all.

Ben I gotta sit in you truck sometime. Thinking about switching to the Marine Isspros.

My Isspro EV's are really easy to read at night. I've had Autometer ultra-lites and they're a bit harder to make out, but not much. I'd say they're easier on the eyes at night too because of it.

BOB WAGNER don't know how you stand the westach must make you crosseyed when watching closly on a steep grade...

look at my post please and use your infinite conservative wisdom to give me some suggestions. I am thinking even smaller like ksb1 https://www.turbodieselregistry.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131993

Sorry I haven't called you for a catcher yet just trying to get some gauges picked out top of the list and save up for what might be ahead while i have you what does a diablo power puck do I have one that was given to me from a friend that swapped it for a comp box. does it have a boost fooler can I use an elbo with it or just take it off and put on the catcher?

I am set on isspro cause I don't like the di procols egt with the big dot and the auto meters seem funny at night

is the marine style egt and boost better? some one mentioned marine above
