FCA Settlement Reached - Diesel Owners to Receive Money and Emissions Fix

Consumer Reports has released information concerning the emissions cheat lawsuit between the Environmental Protection Agency and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. This settlement includes a fix and a payment to the owner averaging $2800.

Any truth to this or is it another "Consumer Reports" exaggeration? I think of Consumer Reports as the CNN of the consumer world.......they are usually wrong............after reading the article, I still think this is just Obama holdovers in the Economic Punishment Agency and the "Justice" department (aka revenue source). FCA admits no wrongdoing and is being extorted by our government.

 

As a writer, I would not put my name on an article of this magnitude (or any false/misleading subject matter) without strong data to support.
