Just received a letter from FCA that included a description on their fix to an alignment along with a couple of stickers! They say to clean the Drag Link and apply a sticker and keep other to replace or place in manual/door panel. I still don't know that would be enough of an adjustment in some cases.

Contact Ram Cares , and get it replaced with the new upgraded drag link . I had mine done several months ago . I refused to let them weld mine .

Good call! I was lucky and mine was replaced under warranty.

I probably would of never changed mine, 9 years without an issue with it , but it was no cost to me . The initial recall was to check to see if the sleeve had it play in the threads ,and retorque . They did that with mine ,and sent me on my way , of course had to go back ,and have them recenter my steering wheel . If I remember if it did have some play in the threads they replaced it ? Then later on they recalled all of them with the weld job , wasn't going to happen on my truck . Every time I went in for a recall ,and there were several they would ask me if I wanted it welded , of course I said no , if they said nothing about it I did , I told them no welding . Pretty sure not all were bad according to what I have read over the years , I most likely had a good one . After seeing Ram Cares would take care of replacing it ,why not get the upgrade .
