Welp Got alot done? Man I for one am experiencing a whole new truck again now that all boost leaks are sealed! Oo. She rips again! EGT's @ 65 mph up a 3% grade? @ 200 Rpm and 18* ambient air temp netted me 740 EGT Oo. with boost staying on and not bleeding off from leakage! Goos Job Mark on the "Jim" Gaskets! Marks tool box is the best lookin' casket Iv'e seen in a while. MTE meant to put the oil there and loves the absent silencer ring! Pete ... ... Well with a fist full of goods got a handfull in (The important handfull anyways ... DDIII's) And MTY ... ... Oh MTY with the BD5 equivelent in the TDI Bug from down there "It's like a Slot Car" And the Plumbers ROCKED! We watched "Piped in TV and even ate lunch with a 6" main sewer line open Yeah we are hard core!

Peter wanted me to say THANKS! to EVERYONE who lifted a helping hand to work on his truck... . His rear tires and transmission are hating life!



As for the injectors on the Bug... . it's actually kinda hard to get it hot. I only saw 1300° once... and that was a 115ish mph run down rt 291 Eastbound... racing Peter with his DD3's.



All is well here... . looking forward to the next one on Sat.

After what I did to it yesterday (it's VERY top secret! ), I don't need to hurry out and get a box or a chip like I thought I would have to... . it has plenty of power.



I'm off to go have the injectors pop-tested... . time to fire the old 6BT in 2° F weather. It's days of having one turbo, a crappy otto transmission, and small injectors are numbered!

MTY, don't get any ideas about taking that bug out on the course for Formula One day, it just wouldn't be fair you being bigger than they are... glad to hear the bug really rocks.

I just got back from MA today after drivin thru the WHOLE BLIZZARD in "Truckasaurus" and all I can say is you guys are all AWESOME. My truck just rocks now and performed flawlessly in this horrid weather.

Well, after getting the drain problem somewhat corrected, the hanging heater decided to have a meltdown at some point between Saturday night and this morning.



Well, at least we had heat on Saturday, that would have really sucked if there was no plumbing and heat :{ :{

Nope, it only got down to 50 degrees when I walked in this morning. It's all fixed now, so it's nice and TOASTY!!!
