Looking for some info on these. How sturdy are they (overall durability, mounting system, etc. etc. ). I think the aluminum would wear well. Just want them tough enough for heavy use.

I would think the important part would be how they mounted. It is hard to tell how they mount from the instructions cause the only ones i could find were for Chevys and Fords. Using the cab bolts on my QC has worked pretty well so far.

Looking at the Dodge instructions (second set listed for the p/n's) they are mounted by drilling through the pinch welds. I am not a fan of this type of mounting, but you may be, so it's your call. I prefer the frame/cab bolt mounting. There are several steps out there that are mounted thru the pinch welds and the guys report that they are strong mountings. Maybe someone here has them or can discuss the pinch weld mounting from their experiences. Years ago I mounted a set of steps on pinch welds on a GMC truck I had, lots of rust at the mounting points. It is next to impossible not to have rust over time due to/because of the back side/in between metal area that collects moisture.

Didn't see the instructions. Thanks for the help. I'm not a fan of the pinch weld mounts either. Still looking for something in the "step" style catagory, but may end up with the nerfs instead. The little woman is getting tired of climbing up and the kids need something so they'll quit using my doors wiring harness as a grab handle.

I purchased a set of Westin rails from Summit Racing, they were FEY26-2900 stainless. The last set I had were chrome over steel and didn't make it (rust) after 4 years.

These are a "no drill" installation, using the body bolts and special fittin in the body drains. They look good and are solid. The part number is for a Megacab.
