Feels like I am running out of fuel, Code p0148

When fuel gage is below 3/8, driveing above 60 mph, under load (a slight grade) the truck feels like it is running out of fuel and trips code p0148 (fuel delevery malfunction)

Any one else have this problum? Sound line in tank fuel pump?

You might want to drop your tank and clean it out. If the level is low and it runs out of fuel the inlet screen is plugged with alge or some other foreign material. The inlet screen really comes into play at low fuel levels. With about 1/4 tank or more the fuel enters the pump chamber from above as well as the inlet on the side so the supply is adequate.
