Fellow brakesmart guys, need help on a setting

Hello,

I have a brakesmart that I bought when Masterbrake owned Brakesmart. I bought it back in April 2005. Software is 9. 02 (04/01/05) and it's build date is 04/18/05. Any one know what the "amp divisor" setting is on these controllers? My owners manual doesn't mention it and I can't find anything on the old or new Brakesmart site. I also looked all over the web and found nothing. I emailed the current Brakesmart company and they haven't replied. To find this setting, it's under information menu with serial numbers and such. I managed to get there and changed it and realized it before I saw what the factory spec was. So instead of hitting enter to save the changed, I hit the manual brake button, but it saved the new setting anyways. I'd be very happy if someone can check their Brakesmart and see what their setting is! I believe mine was in the 150ish area.

Ihave one like yours. It has the original settings. Mine says 146 DIV. Hope that helps.

Thanks for checking for me. I have yet to hear back from the new Brakesmart owner. Maybe they don't know. :-laf At least I know what it's suppose to be, but would love to know what it does. Thanks!

Dr. Performance is not great on answering emails. Their BrakeSmart tech is pretty busy. I have always been able to get through to them on the phone, you might try that if you don't want to use the 146 setting.
