Haven't seen any rear fender flares for the dually. Do you mean splash guards or mud flaps?

Extending the rear fenders would be very wide! I like Bushwacker flares for the front, but I went with the Mopar rubber flaps all the way around. Husky has a nice looking rear dually splash guard that is rigid and rubber.

Modified Mine

I bought the one's for a 2500 and trimmed the rears to work on my '02 3500. They turned out great. I'm thinking you could do the same thing for the 3rd Gens too.

When you say "Trimmed", does that mean that the length was too long and you had to shorten them? If not, what do you mean by "trimmed"?

Danged Website!

I just tried to answer and send pic of rear of my truck when the danged thing tells me I already posted this picture in "Pics of my beast" post.

The rear fender wells on the 2500 and 3500 on the 2nd gens (and probably the 3rd gens too) have the same outline. I had to slightly trim around the marker lights and around the lower front parts of the rears.

It takes a little time and patience. It also take two to complete this. One to hold while the other marks.

I had a great accessory shop in Maryland who ordered them for me and let me hold them up to the truck to evaluate if I wanted to do the trimming before paying for them. I opted to do it. and am glad I did.

Wonder why no one makes fender flairs for 3500s?

Good luck, Wiredawg

I used Bushwacker "OE" Style

I used the Bushwacker "OE" style: They don't stick out very far (only about an inch). They also have rubber molding w/ 3-M adhesive to prevent rubbing.

I just ran into a guy who has the Bushwacker flares on his 03 dually and they fit great. I would say get them only if you have oversized tires. He had 35's.

I'll have to evaluate them when I get the truck. I somewhere in Arkansas. I think the fronts are a definate, might not do them in the rears.

Recommend Both or None

Guys:

Bushwacker makes three different sizes of flairs deoending on the size tires. The ones I referenced are the ones you use for stock tires and look factory. You can paint 'em if you want, but I left mine black. I get lots of compliments. One inch with the way the tires fit on the 03/04s would look great.

If you opt to not put them on the rears, install mud flaps in front w/out flairs. Front only would not look good IMO.
