Now that winter is in full swing here in the Pacific Northwest, my front tires are throwing mud all over the side of my truck. I have some Dee Zee running boards that I would like to keep. Is it possible to put fender flares on or am I forced to go with front mud flaps?

Does anyone have a picture of a truck with both running boards and fender flares or mud flaps?

Fender flares or mud flaps? The answer is easy (if you are looking for maximum protection)...

BOTH!

Enumclaw eh? I have the 98. 5" long Warn 4x Boards on my Ram with Mopar fender flares as well as front and rear NW Custom stainless steel/rubber mud flaps. Awesome looks and unbeatable protection.

One of these days we could link up and BS (I'm in town every school day at least twice).

John is right about both, I have Warn flares and running boards, no flaps. My boards get covered with a road sand slush mix every time I drive in the winter. Luckily it freezes solid every night and with one kick it all falls off. Before the flairs the gunk got thrown everywhere including the windshield and hood.
