I just installed my new BFG 315 70R 17's and realize that mud and stuff is going to fling all over the side of the body. Is there anyone out there that makes fender flares for the new body style?

BTW, the BFG's really improved the trucks freeway manners. RPM's are lower, and just made the transmission seem a little less "tight" with respect to gear spacing. For normal driving a great improvement. The all terrain tread has just a bit more road noise than the stock Michellins, but it is not objectionable.

You can feel the front end a bit more with the big tires, and the truck sits noticeably higher. Overall, I like the look for a 4X4.

I haven't pulled the fifth wheel yet, so the jury is out on that. I suspect they will let me pull the hills a little faster as fifth was too tall a gear, and fourth was too short. Hopefully fourth will be just right and allow me to pull all the hills between 55 and 60 MPH.

The guy that installed the tires said, "Man, those are some really big tires!". He's right.

No rubbing or other problems with the tires, just need to keep the mud off the body.

I'd really like to see pictures (close-up preferred) of the flares to get a feel for how well they attach to the body & how the "notch/relief" looks, as it blends with the body-line.

Decided not to get a spare at this time. In a pinch I'll use the stock spare until I can get it repaired. My local tire dealer can get the BFG's in 48 hours if needed.
