Fender Tag Decoder

Hey Guys,

So the fender tag that is under the cowl on the passenger side.....

On the 60s muscle cars I can decode off my memory as I have done so many and the info is very available.

Anyone know where I can find info for the gen 1s?

There should be a decal under the hood , at least on mine there is

Yes. I have one there. My buddies truck I am trying to decode does not have the decal there any longer.

you can get a dealer parts man to run the vin number, then they can tell you every you need to know

That was my feeling too. Just dont know if they still have 86 in their system.

Yes. But the VIN wont give the factory options for the restoration.

There are so many option codes it isn't funny. I have a dealer build book with the codes listed in it. I haven't taken time to run a firewall tag for decode.

My book is for a 93.
