Adult Swim has become such a phenomenon that Nielsen Media Research began reporting its ratings separately from Cartoon Network's three weeks ago. Currently, Adult Swim ranks as the number one cable destination for a coveted demographic, men 18 to 34 years old.

Cartoon Network, founded in 1992, once aired ''Tom & Jerry" and ''Popeye" reruns at night. Now, it would eventually like Adult Swim to stand alone as its own 24-hour network. ''We could be the network with crazy animation," says Mike Lazzo, Adult Swim's senior vice president of programming and production.



Adult Swim -- which has six original series which air from 11 p. m. to 2 a. m. and then repeat until 5 a. m. -- is already planning a major expansion.

I could do with out the Jap Anime ... I hate that stuff ... I dont even like listening to it when im computing

Family Guy, Futurama and ATHF. First it was just Family Guy I was watching, then I got into the other two.

I hate the Jap Anime, too.

Back when I had TV (about 10 months ago), my favorite was Futurama ... Bender was the best, the typical guy into all the bad things and saying his mind.



Now I just read mags/books and surf the web. (Hey ... I save over $50/month which goes into my tank).

Love the Simpsons, futurama rocks, Aqua Teen Hunger Force is kinda cool, Love family guy, anyone else think meg is kinda hot lol, Hate Anime, Love Beavis and Butthead, why cant MTV play the good shows and good music anymore, anyone remember Celebrity Deathmatch, that was a cool show and the Head was another good MTV creation from back in the day.

Well I have to admit that I am a Family Guy and Futurama FAN, also sadly I am addicted to ONE Japanimation show, Dragonball Z, it's the only one I can watch but somehow my roommate from my single days got me hooked and I tivo it to watch secretly..... LOL
