Frame mounted Reese 5er hitches for newer DC

First pull with 6.7 with 68rfe

We purchased a 6 year old Bigfoot camp trailer that needs to have its exterior refreshed. It looks like new inside but the outside is oxidized and we would like to restore it to a like new luster. What do you experienced, wise ones recommend? :confused

Thanks,

Del

What I would do first is purchase some Rain-X Marine/Boat wash. I had my boat for 4 years without much of a wash schedule (once or twice a year) and no waxing whatsoever. After I washed it with that stuff (after many washes with other "high end" detergents) it looked nearly brand new. It took off all of the oxidation on the gelcoat and almost looked brand new when it was done. It even took off the black streaks from the rub rail and various docks that I figured were nearly permanent without much effort.

It doesn't cost much to purchase and will cost you half a day of your time. I bought it at West Marine and still have what I didn't use. I would also follow the mixing and usage instructions to the letter. Just my opinion but that's where I would start.
