Fifth wheel hitch?

My truck has a goose neck hitch, can a fifth wheel hitch be changed out to a goose neck? What is the benefit of a fifth wheel vs. goose neck? Thinking about buying a fifth wheel travel trailer and putting a goose neck hitch on it. Any pro's/con's to this?

Don't know about converting a 5th to a goose neck, but I have seen alot of trucks with both hitchs installed. The 5th wheel hitch just sets over the goose neck hitch, and you can unpin the 5th wheel hitch to get access to the goose neck hitch when you need it. That combo would make your truck able to tow just about anything.
