Anyone going to the PSD rally at Rollins Lake his week end?

TECH SESSION @ AUTO WURKS DIESEL

Hemi Dart,
You missed an excellent event! I would like to also take this post to say 'Thank You' to Ted Jannetty and his family along with his staff for putting on an EXCELLENT day of diesel tech and knowledge. And a special thanks to Griff996 for organizing this event. The gauge install was nice with step-by-step instructional demo. Then, as Frank Noble finished off the gauges, everyone was treated to a catered lunch and BBQ. Afterwards we all sat around for about 2 hours picking Ted's brain ranging from turbos to synthetic lubes to tires to boxes... . This then led to a VA demos to anyones truck who wanted to try it. I'm definately looking forward to more events like this in the future. I just can't wait to save up for more toys and visit Ted and crew again!

Hey, I'd be willing to treat everyone to some real Texas BBQ (smoked briscuit, pork ribs, beef ribs, venison sausage, pork sausage, gabrito, chicken, etc... ) if Ted would pack up his shop and have the next event a little farther south... say Cedar Park,Tx?

(I know people will travel a ways for good food, just wondering exactly how far "a ways" is... . ) #ad

I had a great time and enjoyed meetting everyone. I'm sorry that I had to leave early but I had to go to the races. There was even an F250 with a cummins in it there. We had a nice talk about the swap over lunch. A lot more gose into a swap than most people think. I hope that we all can meet like this at least once a year. Mopar-Mussle I'm sorry that I couldn't spend more time talking to you but as it was the 4 hour drive turned into 5 1/2 hours because of the weather. It rained from NYC till I got within 20 miles of the track. People just CAN NOT drive in the rain!!!

Wow... what can i say. . It was great day and i want to thank Ted for his hospitality and a great tech day. Griff and I truck from from southern NJ with only a minor detour from a miss caculation in directions, but we got there. I enjoyed putting faces to board names and talk about what mods people have and how everyone uses there trucks for different purposes. I even tried the VA on my truck and has a blast going sideways from a red light. #ad
Mopar musle... i agree... your truck sounds wicked... dont change a thing #ad

First off I want to thank GRIFF for organizing this event and I want to especially thank Ted for hosting it and for the excellent spread of food and the generosity of his staff. I showed up a little late, so I missed most of the gauge install. I enjoyed meeting some of the fellow TDR members and got to put some faces and personalities to the TDR names. This is the part that could have been better. I'll make the suggestion here. Name tags with with member names and TDR names would have been a great help for some of us quieter folks, but I still managed to meet a few of you.
I enjoyed Ted's Q&A at the end. He is such a wealth of experience, and I am sure he will be doing work for me in the future.
This brings me to the most FUN part of the day. I was the first to plug in a VAN AAKEN module in my stock ETH. It pugged right in in a couple of minutes. On starting the truck, I noticed the idle was smoother. I then took off on the suggested short route up a small hill street. Of course I could not keep my foot out of it for long, it made me smile for the whole trip. I can tell you that the power band is now approximately from 1600 RPM to >2500 RPM vs the stock range of 2200 RPM to >2500 RPM. There was a very noticable increase of the GRIN FACTOR. I was glad I left the plastic at home though. I can say that there will be one of these on my future wishlist, along with a larger exhaust, gauges and injectors as soon as I can convince my CFO.
I look forward to more events like this in the future and meeting more of you.

THANK YOU TED, STAFF AND GRIFF

Corrected the name of the organizer(Sorry Griff) and a few spelling mistakes. Cannot believe I did that and missed it till now.

I also got there late, just in time for the food though, and I'd like to congratulate Ted and his staff on a fine feed and a really informative tech session in the afternoon. I passed up the chance to try the VA because I did bring my plastic! I think Ted did a very good job answering questions about the best route to take to BOMB.
PS: The smoke was awsome!! #ad

I also would like to shoot my thanks out to Ted and his gang! What a great time had by all! Love to see lots of diesel Rams in one spot! Next time we should all drive through town in a nice big smoking, bellowing and rattlin caravan! #ad

Gotta love that custom 5" smoke stack!

I enjoyed the day at Ted's. Great to meet some of the people I only knew by their TDR ID. Thanks Mopar-muscle for the ride in your truck and thanks Tom for your dramatic exit, stage left. Most of all, thank you Ted and staff for making this get-together possible (you are a class act).
