I am trying to get my auxilliary fuel tanks back into service but I can't find any filler necks to replace the rusty/dead ones.
What I am trying to find is a filler neck that uses the 1970's style gas cap. You know, the old standard cap that has two "ears" on the outside that you put in and turn 1/2-3/4 turn to lock it in.
I have been to every parts house that I can think of and even a couple of commercial truck specality stores. I have found plenty of replacement caps, just no necks. The real kicker is that I only need the last inch of the neck to weld to my existing tanks.
Thanks,
David
