Filter Minder with BHAF??

Has anyone mounted the filter minder(OEM) on the BHAF either the front or rear of the filter?.

Thought it might work by drilling hole in rear center. Seems like there was talk about it but I haven't seen anymore.

I believe someone did mount the filter minder in a 3-inch schedule 40 coupling. They drilled a hole and used the rubber grommet for mounting (just like stock).

Here ya go........

About a 6" piece of 4" ABS pipe. Drill a ¾" hole in it (centered) That will fit the stock gromet for the minder. The stock turbo hose will go right over the 4" ABS. On the other end I used a clay pipe coupling. 4" to 4" it's rubber lined and has a metal wrap with 2 straps. People were using the 3" coupler inside the BHAF opening to stiffen it up. I haven't had the need with my set up.

I just drilled a hole in the rubber end of mine and mounted the Filter Minder there. Works fine.

Garrett,what a nice setup. Think I'll do that on the next one.

I'm at the daughters for a week in Cheyenne and it's cold and nasty. Think I'll just drill a hole in the end like chucksram,for now.
