Filter on transfer case.

My transfer case has a PTO cover that is the same as the PTO cover on the transmission. Has anyone tried one of Geno's transmission filters on a transfer case? Any reason why it would not work?



Would seem like a good idea since the internals are always turning on the 3rd generations.

there is a pto cover on the t-case??? i don't remember seeing one on mine?

I'll try to get some photos, but yes there is one on mine, 3500 with six speed transmission.

I'm with Nick... never noticed one on the transfer case before...

241 cases don't have one, only 241HD cases.

The 241 series are no longer used as of MY 2003. We now have either the 271 (manual shift) or 273 (push-button).
